We have added a lot of new board games during December and January. Over 30 new titles over the last six weeks or so. Our “New Releases” section is over flowing. Many of you may have used boardgamegeek.com to get info on new or existing games and they give each title a rating. Many of the games I enjoy playing have ratings of 6 or more. When I see a rating of 7.0 and higher it peaks my interest and rating of 8.0 and higher are pretty rare. This is helpful to me as a player and it helps us decide what to do with new releases sometimes. Here is a list of some of the new releases we have in stock and the current ratings.

I’ve been really amazed at the amount of great board games that have been released recently. I think I’m most excited to get my hands on Bushido – that one looks like it could be really good.
Adam I’m with you. I went in there to “just look” and walked out with Through the Ages, Dominion: Seaside, and sleeves for Dominion. Still happy with my purchase though…
Also you may want to check out the game Indonesia which is made by Splotter Spellen. Don’t know if it is around or still in production but worth a look!
I just played the following games and they were a hit with my board game group! Zooloretto and Pandemic! Both were very easy to pick up. Pandemic is a cooperative game that is VERY difficult, even on the easiest level. We played it wrong, passing cards around even though we weren’t in the same city as required by the ruels, and humanity still died out from the pandemics! Zooloretto is a great game if you don’t like alot of violence (good for kids and kind and gentle hearted people) and requires you to collect sets of like animals and mating them to get the best possible points value. Zooloretto and Pandemic are up there on my list of MUST PLAY GAMES. Currently the list includes: Citadels, Carcassonne Hunters and Gatherers, Balloon Cup, Lost Cities, and now these two!.
