Space Marines Dominate 40K Tournament

You have to ask who invited the Space Marines to the party.  Fun was had by all but it was clear that the Space Marine players over shadowed the other factions during our 40K tournament on Saturday, January 30^th.  Six of the twelve competitors played Marines and they took first in the standings.  Brandon won the tournament playing his White Scars, Josh took second place with his Eldar army (he left his Marines at home for the day) and the random drawing was won by Nick who also happens to play Marines.

So I guess its time for those players who love those other armies to figure out how to put these Marine players in their place.  Or we could just not invite them to the next party.  Other armies making an apperance were Witch Hunters, Chaos and Imperial Guard.

Anyone interested in playing 40K or finding out more about the hobby should stop in on Tuesday night – alot of the guys in the tournament play on Tuesdays and are always looking for new players to add to the group.

Don’t forget the new Tyranid Army is out and could be the new tough guy on the block.  Stop in and check out the new models.
